Tips
Prepare for bad weather in the mountains. Dress warmly and take emergency items such as a Forest map, full tank of gas, shovels, traction devices, blankets, food and water.

Douglas-fir and Pacific silver fir are the most preferred trees. Douglas fir are abundant but you'll have to get to the higher elevation for the sliver fir trees. Store your cut tree outside until you are ready to set it up. Cut at least an inch of the bottom stem before you place it in water. kept it well watered and in a room away from sources of fire. Enjoy the magic of your Christmas tree.
