Port Townsend/Keystone Ferry (Auto and Passenger)

New reservation system on the Port Townsend/Keystone ferry has begun and online reservations will be available May 21 - Read more here >>

Reservations are for vehicles and motorcycles only. There is no fee to make a reservation.

How to make a reservation:

  • Online (starting Wednesday, May 21): Visit WSDOT and click on the “Make a Reservation” button.
  • By phone: Advance reservations can be made up to 30 days in advance of a sailing time by calling 1-888-808-7977 (in state), 206-464-6400 or 511 between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m.
  • At the terminal (starting Monday, May 19): Reservations can be made at the Port Townsend and Keystone terminals.

Some local businesses and Chamber of Commerce Visitor’s Centers will also assist customers in making a ferry reservation.

Trucks that are over 80,000 lbs will need to take either the Edmonds/Kingston route or the Mukilteo/Clinton route.

Ferry Tide Cancellations - Schedule for planned interuptions on Port Townsend/Keystone route.
Seattle to Bainbridge Ferry - Terminal 1 to 1.25 hours south.

Puget Sound Express - Passenger ferry service from Port Townsend to Friday Harbor, whale watching included. From Hudson Point Marina.
