Port Townsend Youth Oportunities

Programs for youth range from swimming and boating activities to arts and music. Port Townsend has many outlets for local youth, including an outdoor skateboard park, indoor swimming pool and access to open water beaches.

Most are within bicycling, public transportation or walking distance of downtown. Sailing, diving and kayaking are available and programs are provided for each.

Organized City and County Parks and Rec Departments provide numerous opportunities to learn a sport or join a team for tennis, basketball, baseball and many other sports and activities.

The Uptown Community Center has a recreation room with pool, foosball and basketball court.
